Why see Neil Young?

Love Earth Tour

The iconic Neil Young is heading out on a co-headlining tour with Crazy Horse! Titled the 'Love Earth Tour', this new trek is in celebration of their joint album 'Fu##in' Up'. Kicking off this spring, this is the first national tour in a decade, making these concerts a rare and exciting opportunity to witness the folk-rock phenomenon. Get ready to hear your favorites as well as new hits from their new album!

The Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young began his music career in the 1960s with his band Buffalo Springfield, a venture which earned him a second placement in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The first was earned through his work as a solo artist, which has included such records as "After the Gold Rush" and "Harvest". Famous for his nasal tones, Young's never-ending experimentations in form and sound have inspired everyone from Ryan Adams to Thom Yorke. Don't miss your chance to see him live with Crazy Horse.!

Neil was incredible

Neil did not disappoint at all in his performances. It was an incredible evening with a mixture of his old and new music. He can still rock it like he did in his younger days....I loved every minute of the mellow yet energized feel of the concert. The crowd never sat down...they were on their feet swaying or dancing to the music all night. My review of 5 stars is for Neil's performance. What let me down in a big way was the lack of screens....all of them except the stage were turned off. I suspect it was Neil's decision but it annoyed me. I spent way too much money to see a dot on the stage. What used to be lawn seats are now chairs. It had been so long since I went to the venue that I didn't realize they did that. Concerts have become so cost prohibitive....I find it so disappointing that I can no longer attend lots of concerts, let alone, afford the seats where you can actually see the performers. ... Neil 1, Crowd 0

I never want to hear geezers complain about “kids and their phones “ again. From the moment he took the stage to the final number, the crowd distracted from the music. It was a massive demonstration of privilege and disrespect for the performers. Do they have such poor memory that they have to replay at home on a 6 inch screen? Enjoy the moment, the connection between artist and audience. Guitar playing was great, and Neil still has his voice. I just wish they’d ban the use of cell phones. ... Read more

What's wrong with love?

I saw Neil Young at the Greek Theater in UIC Berkeley and the Oxbow River stage in Napa. I was glad to hear him play whatever songs he chooses. He is 77 years old, so the days of CSNY are long gone. Watch the classics you want on Youtube. I hope he continues to tour and play in smaller venues. ... Read more
